The Analysis and Testing Division has been authenticated in metrology by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision as IMR Test Division, Physics and Chemistry Inspection Center, Shenyang Branch of CAS in 1992,and authenticated as National Commodity Inspection Lab for Metallic Materials by China Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau in 1987, as well as by China Certification Committee for Quality Mark as Inspection Lab for Metallic Materials in 1994.  There are 7 groups under the division as follows:Structure Analysis, Chemical Analysis, Metallographic Research, Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation, Mechanical Property Testing and Technical Support and Maintenance.
